My Dear Son Jae Gook:

Today is the Korean Liberation Day. Mom and I went to Yeoju for a drivie. Jae Nah stayed home. We had dinner in Yeo Ju and came back home.

After return home we have been watching the Olympic Games including the baseball game between Korea and Canada. So far the Korean baseball team is winning over the Canadian team by 1 to 0. This year Korean teams have been doing exceedingly well.

Jae Gook! We are very grateful to you for your outstanding achievements. We learned that you had scored 100 points three times in a row. Didnt I tell you that you will do very well as soon as you acquire the proper methds of study.

I will come to your academy on August 18 to pick you up. I am anxious to see you again. I am also anxious to hear about your life there for a month. Did you enjpy your life there? Did you hAVE HARD time? I think you need rest when you come back home.
